Yoga for Tired Little Ones
Happy New Year, Yoga Mamas! I did it; I said I’d post a micropractice every Tuesday and a kids’ yoga practice every Friday for the last three months of 2021. It felt like a whirlwind but I’m satisfied that I kept that commitment to myself and to you all:)
Here we are at the end of the year. Perhaps I should write about New Year’s Resolutions, hopes and wishes for the year to come, or ideas to reflect on the year past. But instead, I’m going to talk about how we can play with yoga when we’re tired, because I don’t know about you, but 2021 whooped my butt and now I need to rest.
Here’s a post that I wrote for the Kidding Around Yoga blog. I did my kids’ yoga training with them in 2013 and ever since then, yoga has had an element of play and creativity for me. Enjoy! Share it with your young yogis or enjoy it on your own:)
Here’s to another year, but for now, kick back, relax, and give yourself some chill time before you barge into 2022!
Every Friday since the beginning of October, I posted ideas and inspiration for practicing yoga with kids and every Tuesday I shared a micropractice that helps busy moms (and dads and kids, and really anyone) to incorporate brief yoga practices into their day. Here’s the post that kicked off this biweekly series that will last until the end of the year! This is the final post of this series. More to come in January:)
